After completing my project, i can now look back on it and evaluate how everything went. What went well, what went not so well, what others thought and just everything in general. As soon as we got this project, i kind of had an idea of what i wanted to do straight away which was good as this meant i wasn't wasting time trying to think of what to do.
Once i finished my paperwork it was just a matter of time of when i was going to film. I left myself plenty of time to do this. It only took me one day to film which was pretty pleasing. During the day i had to make sure both my actors were prepared to star in my project and we all had a time in which we would meet up to start filming. Filming was a bit slow to start off with as i was trying to plan out what needed filming first as it was better to film the outside parts first before it got dark. It wouldn't have mattered if it got dark when we were inside.
Once i got going everything ran really smoothly and i was really pleased with how the days filming went.
After looking at my footage i didn't have to re-film anything which was also a good sign and i left myself loads of time for editing. My time management overall was very good i thought as i had planned out when i needed to do stuff and i stuck to it. My actors didn't let me down either so they didn't delay any of my filming.
I didn't have any problems with the equipment either, i managed to use everything with ease so having no technical faults meant that again, my project ran smoothly and i wasn't being held back.
After getting people to look at my completed video, i was left with some very positive feedback. One student commented on my technical ability saying that it is very good. He was also pleased with how well effects were used such as the BBQ smoke. Another comment on the video said how funny and inventive it was. She also said how she liked the way i carried on the original trademark for Carlsberg which was what i was trying to do. This person also thought that the voice over helped make the video very good.
Looking back on my project, i don't think anything went wrong and i am very pleased with this project and don't regret anything that i did.

My Finished Advert
Here is a link to my final Carlsberg Advert... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUx0DhyFw5c
Diary Entry - 28/6/2010
In this lesson i put in some effects such as some smoke on the barbeque and sizzling sounds. I also put in a sound effect for the lawn mower. After doing this i watched my advert again to check everything was okay which it was. This meant i had finished my Carlsberg advert.
Diary Entry - 25/6/2010
During this lesson i worked on the last shot putting in text. I put in text such as, "please drink responsibly" and "www.drinkaware.co.uk" as you see these on alcohol adverts. I also recorded my voice over and started to put it into my sequence.

Diary Entry 23/6/2010
I continued what i started in the last lesson which was to shorten my footage to get it around 1min long. Once i had done this i started to play around with the sound so that the scene where they're inside the house had the same constant sound. As the football was on the most distinctive sound was the vuvuzela's so i took a short sound clip of the noise and repeated it throughout.
Diary Entry 22/6/2010
During this lesson my rough cut was just under 2mins long so my next task was to cut it right down so that it's quite fast paced. To help me do this i imported a music track with a fast tempo to help show when i should cut to the next shot. My aim was to continue this in the next lesson.
Diary Entry - 18/6/2010
During this lesson we took my project off of the Mac and put it onto the Macbook Pro so that i could work on it when we weren't in the Mac room. I had pretty much finished my rough cut at the end of this lesson.
Diary Entry - 16/6/2010
During this lesson i continued to put together a rough cut of my project. The footage i have looks pretty good and it's fitting together nicely at the moment.
Diary Entry - 15/6/2010
Today i logged my footage onto Final Cut and started to put together a rough cut. This is all i managed to do in this lesson.

Diary Entry 13/6/2010
Today i was aiming to get my whole project filmed, and i did. I had to purchase a few props to begin with such as some cans of Carlsberg and a Rustlers burger. All the other props were at home. I was very pleased with how smooth the filming went, i had no problems at all. There was one shot i had to get right as i didn't have much chances. This was when my actors Alicia and Paul opened the can and cheered. If they got this wrong it would be hard to re-create the opening of the can. Luckily it went well. I had to shoot some footage of the World Cup, although if it doesn't look good, i may have to do it again. In the next lesson i aim to start editing a rough cut of my footage.
Diary Entry 11/6/2010
During this lesson i booked out filming equipment and went home during the lesson so i could start my filming, i managed to shoot a couple of shots today but will do most of my filming on the sunday as i will have my other actor.
Diary Entry 9/6/2010
Today i finished off my paperwork. Seeing as i need to film at home, i thought it would be best to wait till friday, so i didn't do a lot today, just thought about what i needed to get ready for filming.
Diary Entry 8/6/2010
During this lesson i was finishing off my paperwork and storyboard. For the next lesson i want to make sure my paperwork is all complete and start to think about when i can begin filming.
